In 1986 I started RMR & Associates, Inc. a Colorado based industrial supply company. I successfully marketed maintenance supplies and tools to the building maintenance, industrial, construction and automotive fields. In 1996 I developed the "Pock-its" utility holsters because I seen a need for a simple solution to have the basic tools on hand for most common maintenance situations, a multi-tool, flashlight and at that time a pager.
I'll briefly tell you how I got to where I am today and where "Pock-its" is going in the future.
As a kid growing up in the 60's I worked at my Dads service station waiting on customers. They were full service stations then, not just "gas stations". My parents instilled in us manners and hard work and the services my Dad offered to his customers was a reflection of that. When a customer's car pulled up to the pump I needed to get out there as quickly as possible, greet the customer with big smile and say "Good Day Sir or Ma'am" would you like a fill up? Most of the time it was a common procedure to fill the tank, check the oil, wash the windows and when finished to ask if they would like their tire pressure checked. When you check the oil it's a perfect time to add some oil if needed or ask if they would like an oil change if the oil looked dirty. When you checked the tire pressure you also checked to see how the tire thread is, a tire repair or new tires may be needed. The end results of my Dad's customer service not only gained him a reputation for good friendly, dependable service but helped him build a good solid, successful automotive repair business.
Education in any varying degree is no doubt a valuable asset however as we all know life experiences good or bad can sometimes be our best teachers. One of my life lessons with my experience working for my Dad, besides hard work and customer service was listening to your customers.
At "Pock-its" we have learned to listen to our customers about our products. The feedback we have received over thirteen years has helped us develop new products to solve a particular need. We appreciate all the customer input we have received over the years and will continue to create products to fill your needs.
Our www.pockits.com site is at a new communication level that will create more interaction with our customers to help share and solve some of our challenges we face in the Building Maintenance, Construction and HVAC industries. We will be posting articles, blogs and links and we look forward to hearing from you.
We appreciate all your business and customer loyalty over the years.
Warmest Regards,

Have used one of these for about 5 years. I could not do my job as well with out it. I carry a small location keys, screwdriver, Klein scisors, Fluke voltalert, leatherman, Sharpie pen, ball point pen and Leatherman tool. I've worn out two and ordered two more just to make sure I have one. I wish you could make the camo original again, my favorite!
